Wine and Beverage-Lindsay Dahl

Before I took this class I thought that all wine was way too dry or way too sweet. I also thought that all sparkling wines tasted like champagne. Now that I’ve tasted so many wines I’d have to say that my favorite was the very last wine we tasted which was a nv sparkling rose wine. I liked it because of its sweetness without tasting like bubbly oversweetened koolaid. Unfortunately I didn’t like the wines that had high amounts of tannin because¬†I don’t like the feeling of chalk in my mouth or the taste of leather.
