Thoughts on wine and beverage class

This class has enlightened me on all the different flavors and smells of wine. Best of all I did some shopping and paired some up with a couple different meals to experiment with wine and food matching, and used our smell and tasting exercises with a lovely young ladyfriend.Fun! After taking this class I really appreciate how wine is made, and thank you for waking up my senses of taste and smell to a higher standard. The most appealing wines to me were from France. Ithink they had the boldest flavors and had some of the wierdest smells, compared to new world wines. The least appealing to me in taste was all of the Rieslings, because of its high acidity. Thanks for your knowledge, and humor!
