All this talk about how molecular gastronomy being the future for food is not true at all. i believe that its more of a personality for some chefs, such as the chefs for elbulli. thats how they sell there food to people, they chose to go through that. meaning they have to pay all those chefs and scientists that make it possible as well as all the equipment that is needed and the ingredients. its a very expensive operation that needs plenty of labor and money. the only chance for molecular gastronomy to truly be the future for food is for it to be way more affordable for people and more convenient and of course more fullfilling. thats my say on the future of molecular gastronomy and food.
