To be honest before i took this class i just thought that wine was for women and could make good sauces. Now i think totally differently, wine is for everyone and can make a meal just that much better. Also there are so many different types that all taste different, before i thought that it tasted about the same red and white. I thought that France did have the best wines as a country, most of there wines seemed much better balanced then most. i definitely liked white wine better, tannin isnt for me unless i have a steak with it. And my favorite varietal was Riesling because it was light and refreshing.
